Senior Financial Analyst

A multi-national retail chain is looking to add a key member to its corporate finance team. This position will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of processes to support data-driven strategic decisions for the company. In this hybrid position, the successful candidate will work cross functionally with other key areas of the company including Sales, Supply Chain and IT.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assumes responsibility for regular, consistent, and accurate analyses and reporting
• Assists in the review of overall department projects and initiatives
• Maintains accountability for the preparation and presentation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting, analysis, and projection activities
• Partners with other departments to analyze various initiatives and projects to develop goals, measure performance, and make recommendations
• Conducts monthly variance analyses, evaluating results to recommend business process improvements
• Evaluates key drivers, risks, and opportunities to deliver accurate, insightful projections that inform strategic decisions
• Identifies opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve reporting efficiency, and enhance modeling tools
• Becomes a leading member of new product development teams that launch products meeting key strategic and financial goals

Key Qualifications and Attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA or MBA preferred
• Five plus years of experience working in high volume, data-driven companies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google analytical tools

Compensation:

• $100k+ with bonus potential
