Senior Financial Analyst

Our client, a growing leader in the hospitality industry is currently looking to add a talented Senior Financial Analyst to its team. In this hybrid role, the ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting complemented by exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail. This role will work very closely with many different departments of this company ensuring comprehensive financial oversight and alignment with organizational goals

Position Responsibilities:

• Evaluates and analyzes business performance metrics (KPIs) and identifies trends that could impact financial results.
• Develops and maintains moderately complex financial models to support business decision-making and strategic planning
• Performs detailed financial analysis and variance reporting to evaluate operational performance against budgets and forecasts
• Collaborates with other key departments and their respective stakeholders to gather and validate financial data, ensuring accuracy and integrity in reporting
• Prepares and presents financial performance reports (monthly and quarterly) to senior management and stakeholders highlighting insights and recommendations for action
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the financial reporting and analysis functions
• Utilizes data analytic tools to enhance financial reporting processes

Key Qualifications and Attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related business discipline
• MBA or CPA preferred
• Five plus years total experience which preferably includes several years in a service-related environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Compensation

• $100k+ with bonus potential
