Financial Analyst

A profitable and growing private equity owned manufacturer is looking to expand its finance function with the addition of an inquisitive, analytical Financial Analyst. Reporting to the Company’s FP&A Manager, this person will support the financial planning and corporate accounting teams providing meaningful insights into the business. This is a hybrid position.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assists in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports
• Compiles monthly KPI data and analyzes respective variances
• Collaborates with other key departments for product costing, budgeting, and reporting activities
• Develops and analyzes product costing models for new and existing items
• Assists in the maintenance of standard cost models
• Supports continuous improvement efforts and analysis in production
• Collaborates on the development of new dashboards and reporting in Tableau and other business tools (i.e., operations metrics)
• Provides financial analysis and support for the sales function including sales opportunity tracking, pricing analysis, sales forecasting, and ad-hoc projects

Key Qualifications and Attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar degree required
• The successful candidate will have two to five years of experience in finance or accounting in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude

Compensation:

• $75k-$95k+ with bonus potential
