Accounting Manager

Due to growth, this company is looking to add an experienced Accounting Manager to join an energetic and high-quality finance team. In this role, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities:

• Oversees the monthly close process, including accruals, reserves and general ledger review
• Supervises A/P and A/R processes in a high volume, work environment
• Assists with technical accounting matters and research and stays current with new GAAP pronouncements
• Supports an ERP system upgrade (NetSuite) and contributes to scaling the accounting function as the company continues to grow
• Maintains banking and cash flow activities, including reconciliations and transfers
• Assists with the creation and enforcement of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Provides support to the Finance team during budget season

Key Qualifications and Attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business experience
• The successful candidate will have seven plus years of progressive accounting experience preferably with a blend of public accounting and corporate accounting experience
• CPA preferred
• Proficiency in NetSuite or similar sized ERP systems required
• Multiple years of supervisory experience required (you will be managing a team of five others)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment

Compensation:

• $100k-$120k+ with bonus potential
