Accounting Manager:

A growing, reputable manufacturer of B2B products, is searching for a motivated and responsible, team-building Accounting Manager. The leader will have initiative-taking orientation and ability to manage and motivate this team through an evolving environment. Clear communication and documentation skills, accuracy, and attention to detail are requirements for this fully onsite role.

Position Responsibilities:

• Exhibits hands-on experience managing multiple accounting functions and operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable (cash applications and collections) and billing.
• Manages the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely reporting of GAAP complied financial statements
• Assists in implementing and monitoring automated accounting systems, accounting procedures, and internal controls through compliance and workflow documentation where necessary
• Develops and maintains relationship with business partners to understand, document and ensure compliance with CAP EX policies and supports the company in budgeting and planning capital expenditure
• Supports various aspects of the annual audit including, but not limited to, interim testing, year-end testing, and managing audit request (PBCs)
• Maintains responsibility for the continuous process improvement mindset (CI) and evaluates opportunities to further enhance the overall accounting function
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance

Key Qualifications and Attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA candidate preferred
• Five plus years of experience required; manufacturing experience preferred
• Previous experience with a mid-tier ERP system in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (highly proficient in Excel) required

Compensation

• $100-120k plus bonus
